Kayaker dies after capsizing in NSW river

A kayaker has died in a northern NSW river after capsizing and becoming trapped in rocks.

A kayaker has died after capsizing and getting trapped between rocks in a river on the NSW north coast.

Emergency services were called to Nymboida River near Coffs Harbour about 1pm on Thursday by a relative of the man, who was aged in his 40s.

His body was found after a short search and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
